During my first purchase from Carrot Ink, I had...

Recently, I purchased a 10 pack box of printer cartridges on my first ever order from Carrot Ink. I performed a printer model search on their website and continued to 7 options for my choice, all beginning in the number 203. I scrolled down to the 10 pack option, put the order in my cart, and immediately checked out. Just today, I tried to replace a cartridge from Carrot Ink order and saw the number on the cartridge in my new box, did not match the number I was trying to replace. I called "Janice" at customer service with zero satisfaction on the dilemma. She said "The only possibility was that I ordered the wrong product". I asked her how that could of happened if I didn't go to any other pages on their site, I had gone directly from the search to the checkout page. I checked on their site right then and I responded, "there are no other options on the page but the 203 series, how could I have picked something in the 103 series when I didn't even know existed as an option?" She told the only solution was for me to send the full box back, at my cost, then they would send out what I thought I was on my original order. During the dispute process I filed with my credit card, I discovered the charge is made through injets.com NOT the company I thought I was purchasing it through, Carrot Ink. All this confusion was not necessary, in my opinion!! They could of just paid the shipping to get their product back and sent me the correct product.

My recent 10 pack ink cartridge purchase was my first experience with Carrot Ink. I purchased the ink they suggested through their search option. The number on their site was the same as the number on my current cartridges, so I proceeded with my order. Upon actually trying to replace a cartridge in my printer, I noticed the product number they sent did not match the numbers they suggested, and ones I thought I actually ordered. When I called to talk to customer service they said they would replace the cartridges with what I needed, however, I would have to pay to ship the box of 10 cartridges back to them. I explained to Janice, in customer service, that I performed the search on their website, put the items directly into the cart and immediately checked out. Now I see on my invoice that the item numbers do not match what I thought I was ordering and they sent a different product. I don't feel I should have to pay to ship these cartridges back when I don't understand where the miscommunication happened. I have disputed this purchase, which was actually charged through Injets.com on my credit card invoice. It wasn't even the company I thought I was ordering from!! Bait and switch from Carrot Ink to Inkjets. HMMMM....
