Second cartidge ran out so fast!

I ordered the magenta cartridge and when it arrived, it would not work. Customer service was great and they sent me a new one. Not even 2 weeks later and it's saying that I need to replace the cartridge already. I ordered black and it worked just fine. Still working just fine. Not sure what is up with the magenta cartidge.
